Hydro-Boost, Hydro-Max Brake Pedal Connecting Rod Grommet, Small (3/8 Inch OD 3/16 Inch ID)
The Bosch Hydro-Max brake system operates off of power steering pump pressure, and has an electric backup motor to supply you with brake assistance in case the engine dies. The Hydro-Max has come OE on most medium trucks since the mid 80's, that aren't full air-brake, including school buses, fleet vehicles, motorhomes, and construction equipment. Sweeting Performance also adapts them as a retrofit for older medium duty trucks that may have come with a Hydro-Vac, Dual Power, Hypower, or other brake system that can no longer be serviced. We carry many new genuine Bosch OE replacement Boosters, Master Cylinders, and Motors, and we also manufacture the small parts that make them fit one vehicle or another. We can offer you new replacements, rather than economy rebuilts, for applications that the factory, Ford, GM, International, or other manufacturer would say is obsolete, and we can also build them, as upgrades, for vehicles they never came on.

Fitment: Hydro-Max Brake Backup Motor w/ Single Threaded Post Connection
Description: The Hydro-Max Brake Backup Motor came in 4 main varieties, 3 different electrical connections and 2 different voltage ratings - 1. a 12 volt single threaded post, 2. a 12 volt single wire, 3. a 12 volt w/ two wires and a plastic connector, and 4. a 24 volt with a single threaded post. It would be hard to find a single wire version now, this wire, used with the single threaded post type motor (more common), would give you the same thing.
